Why this matters if you're in the Valley

Most of these neighborhoods are inside the City of Los Angeles, so they're on LADWP. That means two programs pointed at the same heat pump: LADWP's rebate, which is live now at $1,000 to $1,250 per ton for qualifying ducted systems, and TECH's new incentive.

Our heat pumps already cost less to install than a furnace and AC at every size we price. Add either incentive and the gap gets bigger. We'll confirm which programs your home can use once TECH publishes its final rules.
